Feature Friday: Liz & Colin’s Intimate Arizona Wedding
Some wedding days are filled with big, bold moments, while others have a way of pulling you in with the quiet ones. Liz and Colin’s beautiful wedding day was full of intimacy, originality, and meaningful details that made the entire celebration feel completely them.
Their day began in our getting-ready suites, where Liz and Colin spent the morning surrounded by the people closest to them as they prepared for one of the biggest moments of their lives.
A First Look to Remember
Before the ceremony began, Liz met Colin at the front of our Manor for their intimate first look.
There is something so special about that moment when a groom gets to see his bride for the first time on their wedding day. No crowd. No distractions. Just the two of them taking everything in.
And when Colin saw Liz in her wedding dress? Definitely a moment we don’t think he’ll ever forget.

An Intimate South Villa Ceremony
Their ceremony took place at our South Villa, creating the perfect setting for the intimate celebration they envisioned.
Surrounded by the people they love most, Liz and Colin exchanged their vows against the beauty of the Arizona desert. Soft dusty pinks and purples filled their wedding colors, while white flowers and delicate feathers added texture and softness to Liz’s gorgeous bouquet.
Every detail felt romantic, personal, and perfectly suited to their day.
Desert Portraits at Sunset
After saying “I do,” Liz and Colin headed around the property for portraits, allowing the Arizona desert to become part of their wedding story.
And we will never stop talking about sunset at Superstition Manor.
The warm desert light, mountain views, and glowing Arizona sky have a way of turning wedding portraits into something you’ll look at years from now and still have to catch your breath.
These two absolutely soaked it all in.

A Reception Designed Their Way
Their reception continued the theme of making their wedding completely their own.
Instead of choosing a traditional reception layout, Liz and Colin arranged rectangular guest tables into a box surrounding their sweetheart table. It created such an intimate feeling throughout the room and kept the newlyweds right at the center of the celebration — exactly where they belonged.
Because at the end of the day, that’s what everyone was there for: celebrating Liz and Colin and the beginning of their marriage.
The evening continued with dancing, games, plenty of laughter, and a stunning dessert table that gave everyone another reason to celebrate.

Remembering Those Who Were There in Heart
Among all the joyful moments was one especially meaningful detail.
A soft candle burned at a nearby table in remembrance of the loved ones who could not physically be there that day but remained very much present in the hearts of Liz, Colin, and their families.
It was simple, beautiful, and such a touching reminder that weddings aren’t only about the people standing beside us. They are also about carrying the people we love with us into every new chapter.

Congratulations, Liz & Colin!
Liz and Colin’s wedding was the perfect example of what happens when a couple isn’t afraid to make their wedding day their own.
From an intimate first look and beautiful South Villa ceremony to their desert portraits, creative reception layout, and meaningful personal touches, every part of the day told a little more of their story.
Liz and Colin, thank you for trusting our team at Superstition Manor with such an important day. We loved watching you celebrate your love surrounded by your favorite people, and we wish you a lifetime filled with just as much love, laughter, and originality as your wedding day.
Congratulations to the newlyweds! 🤍
