What is one piece of advice you wish every couple knew before booking their wedding venue?
Anna keeps it simple—but it’s something every couple needs to hear:
Evaluate your guest count before you fall in love with a space.
“Guest count can be the #1 thing that quietly causes stress, budget blowouts, and tough compromises later in the planning process,” she shares. Knowing your numbers early helps you choose a venue that supports your vision without added pressure later on.
What are some planning tips that help couples make the most of their wedding day at Superstition Manor?
Anna’s tips are all about maximizing both your experience and your surroundings:
- The Superstition Mountains are a major focal point—if sunset photos are important to you, plan your ceremony timing around those views. That golden hour light is worth it, and building it into your timeline allows you to step away stress-free for photos.
- Lean on your venue planner! From timelines to vendors to layout and flow, our team knows how to make everything work seamlessly across our spaces.
“The couples who enjoy their day the most are the ones who let go and trust their team,” Anna says—and we couldn’t agree more.
What design or décor choices tend to work best with the venue’s spaces and natural scenery?
Anna loves design that complements—not competes with—the natural beauty of the Manor.

These palettes echo the desert landscape and pair beautifully with the stone and architectural details throughout the venue. And with multiple spaces to choose from, each area can be customized to reflect your unique style.
What is a common mistake couples make during the planning process, and how can they avoid it?
Anna’s biggest tip? Don’t rush into buying décor.
Many couples purchase items before their design meeting—only to realize later that much of what they need is already available through Superstition Manor.
“Our design room has so much to offer,” Anna shares, “from dinnerware and arches to mirrors and signage.”
Her advice:
Hold off on purchasing décor until after your design meeting. In the meantime, focus on securing your vendors and building your timeline.
What is one thing couples can do during planning that will make their wedding day feel more relaxed and enjoyable?
Preparation and delegation are key.
